Who Pays

Unless specified, you will be responsible for paying for the furniture you select.

If you are on benefits and have a referral letter or proof of benefits and your address then you will be given a discount.

If you require essential items of furniture, are on benefits and cannot afford to pay, then you may get help from one of the various local charities and/or from the Job Centre Plus.

To establish whether you are entitled to a grant or loan from Job Centre Plus phone                      0845 6088 661 or contact your local  Job Centre Plus for advice.

If you live on the Twickenham side of Richmond Bridge -Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity may be able to help. Click here Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity website and application forms.

If you live on the Richmond side of Richmond Bridge within the boundaries of Richmond Parish Lands Charity they may help. Your local CAB social worker or health visitor may be able to refer you.

If you live in Barnes SW13, Barnes Workhouse Fund may help.  (Again your local CAB, Social worker, health visitor, housing officer, resettlement officer amongst others may be able to refer you)

If you live in SW14, Barnes Relief in Need Charity may help. ( As above your local CAB, Social worker, health visitor, housing officer, resettlement officer amongst others may be able to refer you).

Ask your local Citizen Advice Bureau (CAB) if they can help you. They are one of the main referring agents for Richmond Parish Lands Charity, Barnes Relief in Need Charity and Barnes Workhouse Fund
