Furniture We Need
We need furniture in good condition, but we cannot accept electrical and white goods
We urgently need the following items:
- double and singe beds and clean mattresses
- wardrobes
- chest of drawers
- cots and bunk beds
- garden tools if you are able to deliver them to us
We also accept tables; chairs; settees; armchairs; bedside-cabinets, book shelves, desks good quality curtains and bric-a-brac among other things. However, if we have a surplus of any particular item we will not be able to accept it
All soft furnishings must
- have the required fire retardant labels.
- be in good condition ( not permanently stained, torn or damaged)
Because of the high cost of collection we are careful to collect items which will cover our transport costs. Unless you are offering an item that is urgently needed we tend not to pick up one item only. However, if you are able to bring it to the Furniture Scheme .and the item is something we can take, we would greatly appreciate it.
Donations towards our transport costs will be greatly appreciated. When we collect the carriers should present you with a collection form for you to sign. Should you donate any money please sign the back of the form. If you qualify for Gift Aid, please sign again at the bottom of the page. By doing so it adds 28% to the value of your donation.
